In this film, Father Martin shares some of his thoughts and suggestions for those leaving treatment. He suggests some of the things that will protect and deepen the alcoholic's new found sobriety: joining a home group, working the steps, attending meetings and seeking sponsorship. First things first. He or she must avoid slippery places, people and circumstances that could precipitate going back to active addiction. This film provides the newly sober individual a few hints on how to preserve his or her sobriety as they return home from treatment and embark on their journey in recovery.
